   DUAL GATE- Installation Guide

Perform all DG/1.0 related wiring with the power turned off at the main circuit breaker panel and the batteries of the UV/10 disconnected. The Output Power Disconnect on the UV/10 should also be off. Refer to the installation diagram on the back of this sheet for proper wiring.

If your unit is not factory pre-wired, you must first mount the DG/1.0 above the battery bracket, using the supplied double-backed foam tape. Next, connect the gray/white wires from the DG/1.0 to the TRIG OUT terminals on the UV/10. Then connect the red/black wires from the DG/1.0 to the L&N terminals of the AC OUTPUT of the UV/10. This completes the connections between the DG/1.0 and the UV/10.

OPEN TRIGGERS: Use No. 22 wire to connect between terminals 1 & 2 "First Trigger" on the DG/1.0 and the OPEN contact or terminals on the first gate operator. Similarly, use No. 22 wire to connect between terminals 3 & 4 on the DG/1.0 and the OPEN terminals on the second gate operator.
AC INPUT: Run AC power from the main breaker box into the AC INPUT of the UV/10. Use No. 12 GA wire as shown to connect GND to GND, L to L and N to N. Do not confuse the AC input with the AC output or serious damage will result.

AC OUTPUT: Run AC power from the output of the UV/10 into the AC input of the two operators in the Gate System. Use No. 12 GA wire as shown.
SETTING THE MODE DIP SWITCH:
Locate the 3-position DIP switch at the top of the board and set all the switches down or OFF as shown below. This will set the UV/10 to the dual gate mode.
1: OFF (Down)
2: OFF (Down)
3: OFF (Down)
To complete the installation, refer to the section on TURNING THE UV/10 ON AND CONNECTING THE BATTERIES.
